My husband, Ronald, my son, Flynn and dogs Chance and Cosmo
2. What is/was your career?
World history teacher.

Singing, knitting, and acts of kindness
4. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Southeast Fairfield County and what has it done for you?
Member since March 2016. Where do I begin?! I've NEVER in my life been into exercise or working out. FIT4MOM not only has me excited to get to class and get a great workout, but I actually sense my body/mind is unhappy when I haven't been in a while. This is in addition to the extraordinary community of moms and children I have met and befriended. I don't know where I would be socially (we moved to CT one week before my son was born) or emotionally without the support and sisterhood of the Fit4Mom community. It starts with the welcoming and inspiring example of the instructors and continues with the village of encouraging mothers. The fact that I can do something good for myself while taking care of my child, socializing him and allowing him to take part in creative activities/play is priceless!
5. What is your favorite class exercise?
Planking. I just love to plank!
6. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
How overwhelming it seems at first, but somehow you persevere!
7. What is your proudest mommy moment so far?
Managing two trips to Australia in my son's first year.
8. Any advice for other moms out there?
Believe in yourself. You CAN do it! Oh, and invest in new sneakers when your knees start to ache!
