As April comes to a close, we are excited to share this month's motivating mom with you all! She has been a stronghold in our village from the beginning FOUR years ago! Most recently she has become a dedicated Body Back participant and has worked tremendously hard to crush some personal goals and reclaim time for herself! Her work ethic is incredibly admirable as is her big heart and her love for her family and friends. We are so proud of her for everything she has accomplished as a mom and athlete and are grateful for her dedication and love for FIT4MOM and our village! Laura Pietrycha, you rock and we are thrilled that you are our Motivating Mom!!
Here's what our instructor team has to say about Laura:
" What an honor it is to recognize Laura- a model mom who has helped shape this community and make it what it is today! From being Playgroup Captain to veteran Strider to “graduating” to Body Back, Laura’s dedication, consistency and loyalty have shone through again and again. Laura is a very special and kind person. When you work out alongside her, she has a bright, friendly smile but gets down and works hard, motivating and encouraging you to do the same. I know I speak for more than just myself when I say that I look up to Laura and have learned so much from her example and positive approach to motherhood, fitness, and connecting with others. Thank you Laura for being such a warm and guiding spirit! Congratulations and many thanks"!!
"Laura is a no excuses, get it done Mom. No matter what challenges stood in her way, Laura always smiles and works as hard as she can. During her time at Stroller Strides, she always took the time to connect with new moms and her being a veteran with 2 in her stroller her advice was always heard. She truly inspires moms to work harder and continue to work towards there goals. Her gentle encouragement always reinforces moms when having a tough day. Laura is very worthy of our Motivating Mom of the month and we are so lucky to have her be apart of our village." - Instructor Colleen
Laura is a BOSS! What an impact she made on my life as a mom when I first joined strides - never skipping a beat when her boys needed her, staying as committed to them as she was to her workout - and we know at times it is not easy! When I became an instructor I saw her pushing limits and digging deeper with each workout - and never have I seen a mama “frog” jump so far! Laura has speed and strength and stamina! To boot, this mother is a creative, attentive, loving woman and friend who has taught more than she knows how this thing called motherhood needs to be balanced. We honor, love, and respect you, Laura, and are so excited to celebrate you as our Motivating Mom this month"! - Instructor Lisa
"I’m so excited to be honoring Laura as this month’s motivating mama! Laura has been an inspiration ever since I first started coming to Stroller Strides. She’s got an amazing amount of patience, fierce determination, and a calming sense of encouragement for any mama who just needs a kind word on a rough day. Coaching Laura through a Body Back workout is so much fun because no matter how tough an interval may be, I know I can count on her to grab her heavy weights, put on a smile and give it everything she’s got! Congratulations Laura on this month’s recognition, you deserve it"! - Instructor Carolyn
"I am so happy that we are honoring Laura who is such a warm, kind and patient Mama! When I first joined Fit4mom Laura made me feel welcome at each class with her friendly presence. She is inspiring to observe both in her workouts and with her children as her dedication is equally matched in both areas. She has a wealth of knowledge on parenting that she is generous in sharing with all us newer Mamas. Laura we are so lucky to have you as part of our village and so happy that you have been able to continue on as your boys grow older in Body Back"! -Instructor Meghan

5. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Southeast Fairfield County, and what has it done for you?
I like to say I am an OG, lol. I met Courtney in January 2013, when she was an instructor in Stamford. I followed her to Fairfield and attended her first class as a franchise owner, in April 2014! From the beginning Fit4Mom has helped me in so many ways. I have made some amazing friends, and so have my kids. I have learned a lot and draw so much inspiration from all moms and their various outlooks on life and motherhood, their words and example have kept me going in tough moments. It has also helped me reclaim a part of my self. I have been reminded that I can push myself, and push my body to do hard things. Stroller Strides and Body Back have made me feel like an athlete again :)

Hmmmm, any type of footwork: ladder work, grapevine, etc.

I like to go for "small wins" So, anytime someone compliments my children's kindness or empathy, I feel proud.
